South Plains College
In 2015, the Center for Global Understanding established the Jay Harris Memorial Endowment at South Plains College to provide scholarships for rural high school students pursuing dual credit course work in history, geography, and political science.  While any student is eligible to receive a scholarship through this endowment, CGU placed a special emphasis on supporting students in the under-served rural school districts through Region 17.

If you our your organization would like information on how you can contribute to this very worthwhile endowment, please contact Julie Gerstenberger, who is the Director of Development and Alumni Relations at South Plains College.
